Theo Van Gogh’s Submission
As you musc know by now, Dutch filmmaker Theo Van Gogh was attacked while riding his bicycle in Amsterdam last week. He was shot several times, begging for his life on his knees, his attacker finished the job by cutting his throat, nearly decapitating him.

After killing him his attacker plunged a knife through a note and into his chest. The note contained a death threat to Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the Somali-born woman who, besides being a member of parliament, was also the screenwriter of the film linked to above. She’ll very likely be under armed protection for the forseeable future.
